Melissa’s quote wonderfully characterizes what CHATTER brings to Albuquerque’s music scene.  There is simply no other group whose music will excite your senses like CHATTER’S performances.

CHATTER, founded in 2003, is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and, like all non-profit music organizations, relies more on contributions than on ticket sales.  Gifts from individuals comprise almost 50% of our budget and are tax-deductible, depending on one’s particular tax status.

The rest of CHATTER’S income is from ticket sales and an impressive list (for such a young ensemble) of government agencies: the City of Albuquerque Urban Enhancement Trust Fund, New Mexico Arts – Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
