CHATTER, founded in 2003, is a musical entity of Ensemble Music New Mexico, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and, like all non-profit music organizations, relies on a healthy mix of contributions and income from ticket sales.
Gifts from individuals comprise a large part of our budget and are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

The rest of CHATTER’S income is from ticket sales and an impressive list (for such a young ensemble) of government agencies which have awarded grants to EMNM for public performances:
